This turn of the century dwelling is one of the last monumental homes built in Paisley. Businessman William Walker Hogg gave the house as a wedding gift to his daughter, Mary and his new son-in-law, Thomas French Pearce.

In the true spirit of this gift, the stained glass windows in the Parlour, Roman Garden Room and what is now the sewing studio, all display wedding bows. An arched window, with bow and wreath design, illuminates the view in the rich maple staircase in the entrance. All of the windows are framed in warm oak trim.

Further enhancing this late 1800’s gem is a beautiful oak fireplace surround and grand pocket doors. This historic site is the perfect setting for a truly relaxing pot of tea poured in a china tea cup of your choice!

Our gift shop is packed full with unique crafts and tea products you won't find anywhere else. Many of the crafts are made right here at the Ivy Tea Room, by the owners Mark and Tamara Pasley.

We are particularly fond of our Roman Garden Room. Even on the coldest days of winter, this sanctuary will warm your soul and bring back fond memories of summer.
